Netscape Previously Installed
This is the configuration for Netscape 4. If you have never used Netscape before, see the section called
First time use.
Replace the information listed below with your information. You information should have been provided to you. If not, please call for assistance. The information is the same for any email reading program you may use. Outlook Express or Pegasus, for example use the same information but it is found in different screens.
To get to Screen # 1, Open Netscape & click the Edit Menu, then Preferences.
[MS- Outlook (Express) uses the Tools Menu, and then Accounts. Next you "Add", "Mail".]

Your name: John Smith
Email address: Jsmith@domain.com
Reply to address: Jsmith@domain.com
Screen #2
Incoming Mail Servers: mail.catalystprstl.com
(CLICK the Edit… button to get to screen #2 and set this value. Click OK when done.)
User Name: domain-username (example; 21labs-jsmith)

Outgoing Mail (smpt) Server: mail.domain.com
Outgoing Mail Server user name: domain-username
Enter your mail server name. It will be something like mail.21labs.com
Except use your domain name instead of "21labs"
Enter your username. This is required to login and get your mail. It is different from you email address.
It is a combination of a part of you domain name and your email name.
This is the same as in the step above. You get here by clicking on the Edit button shown above.
Finally, click in the POP tab and deselect Leave messages on server.
